Kids up for adoption..............
Over the years with the RC we have had some kids left outside the gate, left in the clinic yard, or just abandoned altogether. I wait 1 year to see if the parents or family will come back. These children below are in need of homes to good christian families. I know several of them are maybe wishful thinking on my part as they have special needs. But I will leave that up to God.

NAME: Dowensky Duclos
DATE OF BIRTH: May 26, 2005
DATE OF ARRIVAL: February 9, 2006
WEIGHT ON ARRIVAL: 13 pounds
CURRENT WEIGHT: 23 poundsDowensky has been with us for over a year. He was very malnourished when he came to the clinic. His grandfather brought him in and his young mother stayed outside. She did not want anything to do with him and was overjoyed that we offered to keep him for awhile for her. She never returned and no one in her family knows where she is at. They have heard she is involved in gangs in town.
Dowensky has had a long uphill battle to live. He has been very near death several times in the last year, but has always pulled though. It took him many months to begin gaining weight and looking like a healthily boy.
He is a very active boy that loves to play with trucks and balls. He has just begun walking in the last month, and has enjoyed being up and around the other more active kids. He loves to eat and drink milk.

Kelly(a boy) was left in the clinic yard on may 22, 2007. The lady that brought him filled out the chart to enter and then left and said she had to go and get some money outside she never returned. When we first saw Kelly we thought he was deaf. But he can hear. He does not talk but does make sounds. He seems like to me that he has been locked up in a place and never been taken care of. He did not know how to use a spoon or to eat except with his hands. He has seizures when he first came but after medication they have been under control. He used to yell "HEY" all the time when he first came but does not now. He eats everything in sight and seems like he was starving, okay by the pictures above, he was starving. He like to listen to music and pace back and forth.

SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD
on arrival left in front of clinic gate
currently
NAME: Henri (name given by judge) ??????
Date of arrvial: May 6 2006
weight on arrival: 24 ½ pounds
current weight: 32 pounds
Estimated age: 2 years
Henri (as we now call him) was left outside the clinic gate on May 6, 2007. His mother had been to our clinic before and we could not offer much help for her child. She got in line that morning and received number 216 to pass later that afternoon. She left him in the sun with a plate of food in front of him. We called the local judge and he gave us the authorization to keep him. We later heard that his birth mother was pregnant at the time and died during child birth a few months later.
We are in the process of working with an organization here that we hope will be able to determine why his head is so large. Please pray for Henri that God will be done in his life.
He can stand and take a few steps and is beginning to talk.

NAME:Ronel Dieudonne
Estimated age: (guessing around 7 or 8)
Date of arrival: August 2006
weight at arrival: 27 pounds
current weight:41 pounds
Ronel was brought to the Rescue Center by an older sister. She said that his mother and father had both died in the last year. She was trying to take care of the family and Ronel had became sick. She asked us if we could help her. We accepted him into the Rescue Center. We have not heard from anyone in his family since.
Ronel was severely malnourished and soon began to have hallucinations. He seemed to be going crazy! We sent him to get many test and labs done. He had syphilis. We can only guess that he picked this up from his mother. Within a week after being treated for this he began to turn around for the good. He began gaining weight and was a happy child.
Ronel is currently in doing great. He has started school and is rapidly advancing. He has a great appetite and eats all the time. We often find food his had hidden under his bed or pillow, so he can have a midnight snack. :) He is a very happy, loving child that helps those younger than him to eat, and finds toy for all the kids to play with.
So ther they are.....I know that God can do BIG things for all these kids. I have faith that someone is going to be interested in them. Please contact me if you are. Notice they are all boys, girls are adopted much faster.
